1. Introduction
Pinping ("app", "we") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data is collected when you use the Pinping iOS app, how it is used, and what rights you have.
By using the app you accept this policy.

3. Location Data
Pinping uses your location only on your device. Location data is never sent to any server, never stored externally, and never shared with third parties.
iOS's geofencing system alerts the app when you approach a location you've set. This process is managed entirely by iOS — Pinping does not continuously track your location in the background.
The app requests "Always" location permission. Without it, notifications only work while the app is open.
4. Firebase and Google Services
Pinping uses Google Firebase Authentication for account management and Google Maps SDK for map display.
- Firebase processes your email address for account creation and login.
- Google Maps SDK makes network requests to display map tiles; these may include your device's IP address.

5. Analytics and Advertising
Pinping does not use any analytics service or advertising network. No usage statistics are collected and no behavioral profiles are created.
6. Data Security
Pin and profile data on your device is protected by iOS's secure storage mechanisms. Your email address stored via Firebase is encrypted using Google's security standards.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
When you delete the app, all pins and profile data on your device are automatically removed. To delete your Firebase account, log out and submit a deletion request in the app, or email support@pinping.app.
8. Children's Privacy
Pinping is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child under 13 has shared data with us, please contact us immediately.
9. Your Rights
Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict processing of, and port your data. You may also object to processing and withdraw consent at any time.
Exercise these rights by emailing support@pinping.app. Requests are handled within 30 days.
10. Policy Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be announced in the app. The current policy is always available on this page.
